History
Central
Paving’s success is the result of three generations
of family passion in the construction industry. Beginning
as an
Engineering Firm in the 1920’s then converting
to highway construction in the 1940’s. Central
Paving, today is one of the most respected highway contractors
in southern Idaho. Central Paving’s operations
include light and heavy grading, aggregate and asphalt
productions,
and asphalt paving. The
company owns three asphalt plants, two aggregate production
plants and maintains a fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.
Central Paving’s primary business focus is local
roadways, highways, airport projects, and residential
development .
Some of the more recent achievements include the National
Quality Initiative
Achievement
Award for Central Paving’s
work on a 5-mile stretch of I-84, and a national Quality
in Construction
Award for the asphalt resurfacing of the north runway
at the Boise Airport. In addition, Central Paving was
the
first highway
contractor to become a partner with OSHA and to date
maintains an excellent safety record.
